Greetings friends...
Has anyone tried the latest version of Serv-U professional? I got an email notifying me of an upgrade, but before i do it, I am (paranoid) wanting to hear from the friends here to see if everything went smoothly for them... Peace 8-Damien db.etree.org/MaskedMarvel editorial: I'm not sure what prompted RoM to say what he did, especially since the list hasn't heard from him in a while, but I guess i had to respond a little to what everyone else has been saying - when I first got started here, RoM was one of the people that REALLY helped me get tunes, set up my server, and help others log in so I could turn around the love. Right now - I'm in an archiving/housekeeping stage with the server, and am paying a little more attention to the intracacies of etree. While I agree that things like RoM's post don't belong here, I think if you attack him simply because of his venting some frustrations, then you haven't been around long enough to know the impact he made on this list in such a positive way (not only for me). People are going to do this from time to time, but it reminds us that we do need to try and keep the list pure, and not respond to such attacks needlessly. There are like, 10,000 people who get this list, and everyone knows the rules. if we don't agree to them, we should leave and start another list that is more to our liking, which is I guess what RoM did. I haven't been to his list yet, but I might check it out - just remember, he's no Nadav B.
