Sorry to complain yet again, but more the half of digest #22 was taken up
with a b&p offer, then a closed message with all of the setlist info from
the first message repeated. Obviously, this kind of thing is of no use to
us digesters, because the offer was closed within the same digest! That's
nearly 600 lines of worthless text.

Some people have asked in the past, "Why on Earth do people receive the list
in digest form?" Well, I'll tell you. I receive my etree communicados at
work, and my place of work is a nearly-paperless company, and most of my
daily activities and corporate announcements are communicated to me via
email. Obviously, tying up my mail client with a non-business related mails
would make me very unproductive, as every time the mail icon shows up in my
toolbar, I have to stop what I'm doing and check and make sure that it's not
an urgent, work-related meesage. Therefore, I receive the digest. I'm sure
this is why most other digesters receive their etree mail this way too.

So, to sum up, please take an extra moment before hitting send, and
1) Trim all unneccesary text from your posts, and
2) Make sure you are sending in Plain Text mode. Receiving a message with a
bunch of html tags is worse than an untrimmed post. Fortunately, it looks
like the etree mail server takes care of most of these...if only the moe-L
server did the same thing!

no b&p today, as I'm still waiting for some discs to show up from the last
b&p/trades I did on this list. I sent you yours, where's mine?

john "man, that was bitchy, and I'm not even a Rams fan!" florek
