dyndns.org is the bomb. It works, and they are good people. I even have my own domain name from Verio that I register with their name server. That service costs $30 for a lifetime membership.
There are several free client apps available that detect when your IP changes and updates the name server accordingly. It even works with my wireless router. I can have the client app point at the router to detect IP changes. I set it all up real easy and have never had to think about it again.
