I have little doubt that the price of DVD-Rs will tumble soon. With so
many computers already shipping with reasonably priced DVD-writers,
home-video DVD-Rs must be just around the corner, en masse, and I have
heard SHN shows with fades in the disc2/3 break. Obviously, these will
be less than ideal for DVD-R, where ideally we want the second set to
continue playing-seamlessly. Has there been any thought to preparing
shows that have such fades with an alternate version that allows a
seamless transition between gdxx-xx-xxd2_FinalTrack and
gdxx-xx-xxd3_FirstTrack? This sounds like a job for the Danks. I can't
wait to have a show on one playable disc and a deck in my car that will
do DVD-Audio.
