Hello everyone in etree-land.

I have been a member here for about a year now. I
don't really post to this list often, just etrade.

I have been very successful, in collecting many great
shows, some I have been attended and some I wish I
had.
One of my Dad's favorite shows, GD 8/6/74
There is always another new story about that show
every time we listen to it.

Some downloaded but most of these by snail mail trade.

Thanks to etree.

And its more than generous traders.(Too many to list)

I archive, because I love my shns and I understand the
big picture of saving your shns.

I have been reading all of the posts lately with the
fighting and complaining about censorship and filters.

This is not why I joined etree.

I joined etree to get the shows I was at so I can
remember them and share them with my children.
To get excellent quality lossless music.
To experience live music I wasn't at the best way you
can.
To save them so others can experience hours of the
greatest music ever captured live.
Like a kind of audio photo album.
Keeping an archive or library of your shns.
That is etree.

I have one question, that is not answered in the
FAQ's.
What is the "proper" way to do this?

I understand there are many viewpoints on this.
But basic questions like What CD Rom mode should I
use?
What is ISO?

Things of this nature, are not in the FAQ's.

So before we start censoring and using filters, why
don't we update the FAQ's? They really stress
downloading and not trading.

Try to make things more clear to new users, and accept
them as newbies. Help them as you wished you could
have been helped in the beginning. I learned by
myself, and helped mentor a few. The best way I could.

                           Keith

WOB TAX: I will accept one newbie to mentor.
I encourage everyone to do the same.
