Excel is also a pretty good way to keep track of your SHN archives; what I 
do is keep my shns in 50-cd spindles, burn the shows as I get them, number 
the discs as I burn them on the clear plastic ring (started with 001 and 
started counting upwards), and burn the Excel file onto one disc (one copy 
of the file per spindle).  You just put that Excel disc on top of the 
archive spindle, and you've got your spindle directory right on top any time 
you need to know what's in it.
