thanks for all the advice. the verdict...very few burners will recognize these discs. i bought these on impulse at compusa without doing any research on them. i asked one of the employees(first mistake) if they are compatible with most burners. he told me they were. i took them back bnp a few 2 shows http://db.etree.org/ch4920 thanks,craig
