I was sent some Kodak CD-R discs as part of a B&P. Needless to say, when I
went to verify the MD5, 3 CDs failed out of a total of 14. The CD-R
software said it was done and the MD5 failed. So I would never use them.
I'm not even allowing them in a B&P ever again.

Well, I started archiving shns on Kodak silvers over 2 years ago, and
haven't had one fail (I switched to silvers when my local CompUSA stopped
carrying Golds). I've also used quite a few for Audio copies, and have had
no problems with those either. FWIW, I've switched brands, depending on
which reputable brand is on sale at any given time, but if the Kodak's were
around, I would buy them again.

Of course, YMMV.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
