This list will forever get these questions as new people enter the fold. They are as entitled to ask them as they climb the learning curve as we were the first (or second or third or fortieth) time the topic circulated. It might be kind of fun to brainstorm the common newbie topics of this nature and compose a CNT FAQ. Enough members have enough time to flame away, maybe they would volunteer some of that time to write it up? just a thought... God, I love this place.
