A few members may even themselves be offended by the F word. I understand this is a rock'n'roll list largely populated by 'free' people. But even 'free' people can and should respect the sensitivities of others.
2. Alan should be welcome to ask the question. Free of flames. We claim to be a community. That means helping one another. He said he'd already read the FAQs, tried the chat room, etc. OK, so he had a little attitude going when he typed. Everyone who has NEVER done that when exasperated raise their hand. 3. Short answer to the question, some of which has already been said (I'm a digester, so please forgive if it's ALL been said by now): 1. follow the instructs at db.etree.org if you want to host a web-based list there (highly recommended if your collection is predominantly etree material, if only because you can 'import' existing etree seed entries directly into your list without re-inputting everything). 2. If you want to host a web list on your own (ISP's) site, Wintaper, TapeTracker and probably other collection management software will export the list to HTML. If your ISP deal includes webspace, they'll give you instructions about where to FTP your HTML pages up to.
