I use a sharpie on the Shn CDrs because it's the least intrusive. I don't
buy all that stuff about the alcohol eating through the data. I maybe
wrong, but time will tell. I use labels on the Audio CDs, fancy ones at
that. Fancy Shmancy to be technical. I have only had one go bad, the label
got wet when a an unsuspecting rain storm hit me before I could get the top
on my covertible. The label bubbled and snagged in my car CD player,
screwing everything up. But that has only happened once, and I have since
changed storage procedures.

Peace

Subject: [etree] any problems with labels?

| hello-
|
| i have read the numerous posts about the use of sharpies on CDs, and it
| appears that there is no clear consensus to if they hurt the CDs. Anyway,
i
| was wondering if anyone has had any problems using CD labels on CD-Rs.
| Additionally, what is thee best way to label CDs that anyone has found?
| Sharpies? on the inside rim only? Labels? Thanks alot.
