Subject: [etree] flawed skb2002-02-02_mk4v-onstage READ IF YOU HAVE THIS
SHOW

I just got this show, skb2002-02-02_mk4v-onstage_dnk.txt (Thanks Allan :-)

Apparently, some of the original releases of this recording were flawed
and are now fixed. Here is the snippet of the info file from the taper
who fixed the flaws.

etc...

This is not a serious flaw. It's an extra RIFF chunk on 1 file which is
actually only an expendable fade track anyway.
It has been seen to cause a pop when played back in SHN format (only), not
wave format, in Winamp with the SHNAMP plugin. It does not manifest any
problem when burned onto CD, and there's no reason for anyone to panic over
this one. If you want your existing .md5 to match for that one file, run
"shntool strip" on the file in question (not sure which one right now).
