I hate to rain on anyone's parade but it does not seem to make any difference at all if you pre-register or not. I did for a previous offer, in March of last year and had to wait until September for the rebate check. Its just a matter of patience I guess. I discovered that FUJI has to run everything through their head office in Japan. After the processing they then ship the rebate checks by mule, yak, sloth and real snail mail, starting in Tokyo and working their way westward!! Finally they utilize the services of a single-handed oarsman, who rows across the Atlantic with the gunnysack off rebates from France, known for terrible mail services in their own right, finally arriving somewhere on the N. American coast. Since all the rebate envelopes have USPS stamps on them , all he has to do then is locate a Post Office. Now I think you can understand why there might just be a small delay.
I bought the deal x 2 on December 28th, from our good friends at Best Buy. Did the pre-register at www.myrewards.info, one in my name and address and one in my sons 1100 miles away. As you may have guessed I am still waiting. WOB for flippancy. 2 quickie logins tonight for SKB at the HOB Orlando. 02/12/02. Great little 60 minute set and worth having .
