First point: Gdlive is a separate operation from etree ftp servers,
although you can of course find much overlap of shns. In any case, even
etree.org servers are not beholden to etree dir/naming tips. What matters
most is the identifying "fingerprint" md5 checksum on each shn.

Second point: Gdlive shns are often not listed in the shn db (yet)
because shn admins for relevant band(s) may not be alerted to the seeds
there. For instance I'm a Dead admin and simply don't have time anymore
to comb the gdlive listings for new sedds, but rely on user tips. Please
help by passing new txt/md5s or url pointers to the admins, thanks! Admin
contacts can usually be found at the bottom of any given band/year table
in the shn db, http://db.etree.org/shncirc.

In the cases where the gdlive offering is clearly meant to be the "same"
shn set as what's already listed in the db, but appears to be some kind of
reDAE/reSHN, you can a) please also alert admin(s), with reference to the
existing db entry for comparison. You can also add a user comment to the
db listing to alert other users. (Example comment: "gdlive seems to have
this same set with exact same txt file, but different md5s.")

Ideally the shn db should be a general "phone book" listing of shns in
circ (through etree, gdlive, furthur, mailing lists etc), not just listing
etree-specific shns, even though it's hosted at db."etree".org.
