If you're using IE, you might want to check out http://fuckmicrosoft.com/content/ms-hidden-files.shtml. There are many hidden files that are rather difficult to get to and delete. Follow this dudes advise and you might reclaim a good chunk of space.
Also, compact the data bases for your email and news group readers. These probably won't reclaim a lot of space but it all adds up.
