Most traders agree though that Mitsui are the very best, but they are
expensive.
Taiyo Yuden (TY) are probably the best alternative.
They also makes disks for many other companies who place their names on TY
disks.
Fuji , HP, Sony, just to name a few.
Look for Made in Japan on the side of the label.
You can also tell TYs by their distinctive screw on top cakebox.

Try CD Identifier version 1.63.
You can download this freeware software to tell you the maker, dye type
used, and actual capacity of most discs.  It's impressive and it's free.
