One or both of you are behind a router and the server and/or the client doesn't
know or support PASV, or isn't configured properly to support it. Try to
toggle the PASV setting. Many clients and servers don't support PASV when a
router(i.e.-Linksys, etc) is involved.

Subject: [Sugarmegs] invalid port command query

Hey listers.

I get this when trying to log on to some servers. What gives? What do I
need to disable?

257 "/" is current directory.
    TYPE A
200 Type set to A.
    PORT 192,168,0,2,11,213
500 Invalid PORT Command.

The line I want people to check out is the 500 line - Invalid PORT Command.

Once the FTP client gets to this point, I don't get anymore info from the
computer to which I'm trying to connect. Is there anything I can do to fix
this?

Thanks.

Tom
