ROFLMFAO. Possibly in part b/c Bro' Crow was criticized for being too quick on the trigger yesterday? let's see, who was that....? ;-} I think discussion of *why* the rules and customs are what they are **is** somewhat on topic, and that rehashing the old issues periodically is inevitable and even necessary due to the constant influx of newer folks who missed these discussions the first 1,000 times they came around. HOWEVER, at some point enough IS enough, and all the good stuff has pretty much been said. I don't think we should need the moderator to jump in and tell us when that moment has occurred. A little self-restraint will suffice. Has what I think about this already been said (though perhaps less eloquently and self-satisfyingly than I would say it?). Yup. So I'll try to set an example and hold my piece on the merits of listing mp.* and just suggest that (a) it really was an OK question to ask, (b) all the answers have pretty much been stated, and (c) much of this opining could have been done offlist (as I did with my $.02 to Elfinito) once the main points had been made, so that we digesters wouldn't get an entire digest full of repetitive posts on an old topic. 4-5 posts, appropriate, 35-40, overkill/buzzkill. >End Of Discussion = EOD AMEN. wilbur _______________________________________________ etree.org etree mailing list <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://mail.etree.org/mailman/listinfo/etree Need help?
