Ask a question that everyone here has some insight into, and get flamed.
"GIMME MUSIC" "WHADABOUTDAWOB??!!" "GIMME, GIMME, GIMME!!!"

Hell, it would be a shame if anyone here had to actually spend a brain
cell actually trying to _think_ about wtf they're doing or what it means
or what its importance is. And God forbid that someone like Tom should
express some thoughts about something other than the best disks or the
best ph show. Tom you yoyo--shame on you for sharing your insights with
us.

"Pleasure. Gimme pleasure!" Oh, wait, Depeche Mode isn't taper
friendly--that quote is off-topic I guess.

But hey, let's talk about whether Mitsui makes Fuli disks or whether
it's ok to trade Dylan boots or radio recordings. Anyone got a copy of
the basement tapes?? How about some fine Miles Davis? I've been
looking for this Brittney Spears boot for god knows how long...

Let's talk about simple, silly things, like ISO Phish 2003 NYE.

What does art have to do with anything we do here anyway? Totally
off-topic. Flog the bastid who started this thread! He's probably some
freak who hangs cds in his windows to see how long they last before they
fail. Hehehe. I'm glad I'm not him...must be some kinda
freak...thinking about such things. Must have short, combed hair.
Shiny shoes, too. Flog him, I say! Send the beards from the undernet
after him--they're just up the road from where he lives anyway. Who is
Tom or Jeff to try to engage a list of 20-fscking-thousand drones in
some light, freindly and perhaps meaningful discussion? The bastids.
Flog them! Cut them off! BAN THEM!
Throw them in the water to see if they float!

But PJP is right, mention 'nazis' and the thread is dead. EOD.

Oh well. Maybe you guys can all grab some more shows to listen to.
That's better than having to think about why they're important to you.
Are you listening? Are you listening really, really hard? Are you
searching for that magical moment and you think that just one more show
will get you there? Maybe you just haven't practiced rule #5
enough...or maybe a few hundred more mics...that'll do it, fer shure!
Dude!

Ahhh...maybe this is it. It's too hard to press "Delete". 6 emails.
Let's see. OK. That took 3 seconds. ooooh sooo sorry. Didn't mean to
take up 3 seconds of your time. I guess I owe a wob. The first ten
thousand people to reply can all download 3 seconds of music from my
server.

"It's one in ten thousand that come for the show."
