You can do disc-to-disc copies with SHN files (which by the way, isn't
really "DAO"..DAO stands for "Disc at Once" and is a distinction from "Track
at Once when burning audio CDs only). Since SHN files have accompanying md5
files, you can always do an md5 check of your burned disc to make sure the
disc-to-disc copy went OK.
