Hey,
I'm a junior writing major at the University of Pittsburgh with an
intense interest in live music. For the final grade in my nonfiction
writing class, I am working on a creative nonfiction piece on the practice
of widespread internet trading of music: how it affects the bands traded,
how it affects the lives of traders, how it has the potential to turn into
somewhat of an addiction for those involved, and whatever else I stumble
across on the subject. What I'm looking for is someone who is heavily
involved in music trading--preferably someone who has been involved since
before the days of the internet and CD burning, and who now finds
facilitating organizations such as e-tree to be helpful--who would be
willing to subject him/herself to an interview. If you are in the
Pittsburgh area, it would be great to do it in person; otherwise, over the
phone would suffice. Anyone who believes they can be of signifigant help,
please reply to me only at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
