The EAC vs. saving your .shns debate is old hat.  This thread is not to
discuss that tired subject.  With all of the EAC talk lately, however, I
did want to throw out this suggestion:  if you are seeding something
that requires you to use EAC, it is a good idea to include a log of the
EAC session with the rest of the files.  I forget exactly at which point
(because I save my .shns)  :-) but you get an option after the EAC-rip
to make a log file, which is nothing more than a .txt file that captures
the report EAC displays.  

When EAC-ing a disc, I call the EAC log something like
pj2000-10-20d1EAC.txt.  Or, you could copy the EAC log right into the
text file.  Either way, I think it lets someone down the line know that
you are somewhat serious about your rips, and they can judge for
themselves by the .txt file whether you got a good rip or not.
