id have to agree with bb. winme and winxp have been nothing but problems for
me. i am now running windows2k, and it NEVER crashes, and is far faster than
me and xp. in addition, it has a far greater compatibility with everything
(hardware, software) than winxp.

Subject: [etree] windows os questions

hey now,

i am currently running windows ME which is a BIG piece of crap, i have
nothing but problems with it. it is VERY unstable and crashes ALOT. i have
done virus scan and all the usual maintenance procedures and still nothing
but crashes and stuff. i am thinking of re-installing windows NT (which i
ran for 4 years without any problems) but i have been advised that this may
not be the way to go because of etree related software compatiblity issues.
so my questions are:

1) are there compatibility issues with etree realted software on windows nt,
and if so could someone explain to me what they are?

2) is it safe then, if windows NT is not compatable, to install windows XP,
or are there compatiblity issues there also?

i am planning on ditching windows ME on monday no matter what, so any advice
that anyone could share would be EXTREMELY helpful.

thanks for any help i might recieve.

peace,

kurt
