No, Stan is _not_ speaking, the organizers want a Linux group
presence, though, and they are trying to get more Linux people to
come. They even gave Stan a booth to help promote Linux!!

Anyone from elug that can come to this event will be welcome at
Stan's booth to show off the power of Linux. As some of you may
recall, at the last computer expo (the one at the Hilton) Linux
was the hot product. One of the most popular booths was the one
where Stan had a couple of old 486's running Mandrake!!

Elug should have a presence at this expo, so please come. If we
have anymore promotional materials to give away, this is a good
opportunity.

I dropped-off some flyers from the Portland Linux Users Group at
Stan's last night--they have the information regarding our meeting
place and website, and some general info regarding Linux. We can
hand out some of these at the expo.

I plan to be at the expo, but I can't make it until about 4:00pm.
