Nathan,
ohhh... you really dont want to know the ISP problmes ive had/seen
:( however... in general, a small local joint seems the best way to go ( I
wish i could offer dial-up!, i know good people id hire and i think
(maybe im disusional...) i could do a better job than what ive been
seeing! Anyway... My experience is that many folks have had bad
experiences with atleast one isp, and loyal to another isp, and no isp
seems to be great for everyone. I do tech support for EFN, they have
thousands of loyal customers (and thousands of unhappy ex-customers!) Seth
swears by clippernet, im going with peak (hopefully tomorow it will come
through...) stan uses eugene eznet, I guess an isp should suit your needs,
and i guess that really varies from person to person. Im a very "just the
facts mam" kinda guy, so i want network services, nothing more (no stupid
fancy stuff... jut ip addresses, (inter)network access 24/7, and news
server access (i cn live without it though...). hpe this doesnt add to our
cnfustion... pick an isxp that gives you exactly what you need/want, and
you'lll be happy.
