Great Cogent Summation on TV. You photograph flatteringly.
I downloaded vmlinux (v22.12-990904) into my MacOS System folder
on my main hard drive and have a swap and root partition set up on my
second hard drive:

:UNQUOTE
Now I used BootX to try to launch Linux, and of course it fails
cause I have no file system yet. But the Kernel finds everything
before panicking:
BUT:
Should my Unix Partitions be ef2 or
Apple_UNIX_SVR2?
And: Can I just down load a mini file system to copy into my
root partion?
Or do I need a distribution to have BootX insert into a
"ramdisk.image.gz"? I guess from there the
distribution install makes the file system.
Anything else? Can you burn me a distribution by Thursday?
Thanks
Hal
