Anybody remember that way back on Demo Day, there was a general consensus
that we should do another one in February?

Well....

It might just be time to plan this out after Armageddon Day (January 1st, to
all you non-geek geeks). So, if everybody could start coming up with ideas,
we can hash out the details. In the words of the famous Russian Quote of
somebody famous, "Detali, ehto vsyo"--"Details are everything".

>From me:
1) My super-tall PPro 200-MHz box as a "normal guy's PC". Of course, it's
got a Matrox video board and 64M RAM. runs nice fin a
home-office-sort-of-way. It has SOffice and KDE. Now, if I could borrow
someone's monitor, as my 14-in slow-as-hell-refresh-rate ca. 1994 monitor is
very substandard and does flicker.
2) Tri-fold brochures about Linux, similar to the ones for Portland LUG,
but focusing on the peculiar demographics of Eugene.
