Unless I am misunderstanding your comment - not necessarily. Just
because Linux itself is open source doesn't mean that the applications
have to be open source. There are plenty of closed source apps for
Linux.
Now if you are implying that Microsoft can't program and that their
programs will never be sucessful until they open the source so the
programming community can fix them - I can go along with that. :-)
