Thanks for the info. The Eugen Lug also has some demo, trail versions of Hummingbird X server, that expires next month. So, it looks like there are some good connectivity things to choose from.

I don't normally do this........ If you have an application requiring an X11R6x server for Winblowz, try Xvnc. This is a hack of AT&T'sVNCSERVER from http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/ I found this one on one of the cygwin boards (cygwin is a *nix x-platform environment for windoze with lots of cli and X tools for win that we're used to, likels, gcc, mc, and much much more. Cygwin can be had at http://sourceware.cygnus.com/cygwin/ Anyhow, here's a screenshot showing CDESIM wm running on my win98 desktop:You can download my hack at http://www.rio.com/~kg7fu/xvnc.zip Make sure to observe the /lib/x11/fonts directory structure, Xvnc.exe looks for it's fonts on the same drive as the .exe so it's a good ideato follow normal *nix strucutre like 'c:\usr\lib......' Run from a shortcut or link with cli options for geometry, or it will crash. I use 'Xnvc.exe -geometry 800x600 -depth 32' with good results. Enjoy..... Cheers! -----------------------------
