https and linux

My mail account is a Banyon Intelligent messaging account through LCC. To 
access
my mail I have to goto an https: site. Using Netscape in Mandrake, I can get 
just about
anywhere else on the 'net but not this page. Keeps telling me that the server 
refuses
the connection.

Any ideas on what I can do to solve this?
