When I starting KDE as a user (myself) the KDE panel comes up and no icons. About a minute later the icons appear. I have no access to the programs until they appear. I have allot of directories and files. Could this be the problem? When I log in as root or another user the icons come up immediately and I have access to the programs. Any suggestions? BTW, Seth I changed one of the settings you put in for the TV tuner card and it works every time now. Now I need a better antenna. : ) Tim
