Nothing personal.
Just my own "buyer's remorse". I actually coughed up $80 for Red Hat 6.1
Deluxe and have recently seen it discounted as low as $30. Plus, I got
bitten by a couple of "show stoppers" during the install I did 3 months
ago. When I see others installing it today and getting bitten by the
same problems that I experienced; and have difficulty retracing the work
around solutions, I just get a little impatient. Not as bad as the
Windows environment, but fortunately other Linux options are available.
I guess about 1+years ago, Red Hat had a more favorable reputation which
has been tainted by my own 6.1 install experience.
