Hey, I'm wondering. This isn't official, but I thought I'd get a feel. Do any of you have experience with all of: 1) apache webservers 2) oracle 8 (well I guess any real database would do) 3) server-side java (particularly apache jserv servlets with jdbc) Good supplementary skills would be perl, dbi/dbd, other template based extended html languages. extra extra points if you have C++. I know there's a CS faculty member at UO on this list, too - know anyone this would fit? I ask because I telecommute to a company in San Jose CA, Talk City. I'm the lone "oregon office" employee right now but they are hiring software engineers like mad. I recently had a conversation with my boss where I joked about starting up a real "Oregon Office". He said that if I could find good candidates, he'd consider it. I've been with this company for two years (I moved up here six months ago) and have been with them since long before they went public. Anyway, let me know. Also, they are *definitely* hiring anyone who might want to move to the bay area, so check with me in that case as well (specify which case you are). Thanks, Curt
