OK, I went to the meeting last week and (thanks to Drake) we're
in, day passes only, to the communications booth in the Community Village.
The fair expressed interest (well, it's sort of mandatory) in seeing us at
work parties getting the site ready for 7 July 2000. More on that below in
the fwds...
Can we indeed get or burn CD's? Pamphlets? We can probably get
power for demo machines, even burn CD's onsite.
I'm still trying to raise someone at Hi5music for the Hempfest. I
doubt that anything as convenient as a communications booth will be
available. However, camping will.

>>>CONSCIOUS LIVING...CONSCIOUS LOVING
>>>
>>>THE SEVEN LIFE-CHANGING DISCOVERIES...
>>>
>>>The First Discovery
>>>Women and men have important surface differences, but we
>are absolutely the same and seamlessly connected to each other
>at deeper levels. When we connect with each other at the heart
>and soul level, physical distance becomes irrelevant.
>>>Action Step: Find creative, friendly ways to dive beneath the
>surface of yourself and the people you care about.
>>>
>>>The Second Discovery
>>>Relationship itself is the ultimate spiritual path.
>Each relationship interaction shows us what we most need
> to learn for our spiritual growth to become real. Unless we're
>unflinchingly committed to learning from each relationship
>moment, meditation or therapy do little good--and can
>>>actually be harmful forms of escapism and denial.
>>>Action Step: Make a heart-felt commitment to dropping
>defensiveness,
>>>replacing it with a commitment to learning
>>>from every moment and every person.
>>>
>>>The Third Discovery
>>>All of us have two deep relationship needs: Closeness with
>others and space for individual growth. Due to childhood
>situations where love-bonds were broken,
>>>most of us feel afraid both of getting close
>>>and of genuine independence.
>>>If you know how to use your organic body-wisdom-breathing,
> conscious movement, awareness-you can dissolve your fears
> of closeness and independence with remarkable ease. Fear is
> only excitement without the breath--we're only a deep breath
>away from turning the fear of losing ourselves into the
> excitement of union with others and the universe.
>
>>>Action Step: Commit to closeness and independence,
> then let your breathing and movement guide you through
>your frozen places.
>>>
>>>The Fourth Discovery
>>>Commitment opens the field of possibility in which
> miraculous relationship transformations can occur.
>99% commitment won't do--it's the same as 1% or zero.
> Full commitment makes magic happen: Indecision,
>>>confusion and resistance disappear the instant we make
>a genuine commitment.
>>>Action Step: Either make a full-out commitment to every
> life situation or consciously choose to sit on the bench.
>Be sure to tell everybody which one you choose.
>
>>>
>>>The Fifth Discovery
>>>Most of us have been duped into believing a ruinous con:
>>>That truth is hurtful and we must hide the truth in order to
> survive. In working with 20,000 people over the past
>thirty years, we discovered something very different:
>Truth heals, lies hurt. Hiding feelings or deeds destroys
>soul-growth in relationship. Speaking authentically,
>with no blame, restores the flow of loving connection.
>>>Action Step:
>Search out any truths you're hiding from yourself
>and acknowledge them...
>>>search out any truths you're hiding from others and
>>>speak them.
>>>
>>>The Sixth Discovery
>>>Blame destroys relationship...healthy responsibility heals it.
> Thinking of ourselves as victims turns relationships into
> entanglements.
>>> Taking ownership-asking "How did I contribute to making this
>>>happen?" instead of "Who's to blame for this?"-restores a flow
>of connection.
>>> Healthy responsibility is not about self-flagellation, burden or
>>>martyrdom--it's the simple act of saying, "Regardless of where
> the problem began, I claim ownership of it and commit myself to
> solving it."
>Action Step:
>Claim full responsibility for any life situation you're engaged in.
>Mount a relentless search for any ways you think of yourself
>>>as a victim.
>>>
>>>The Seventh Discovery
>>>Essence-who we truly are beneath all our roles and
>masks-blossoms in an atmosphere of authenticity and appreciation.
>When you are honest with yourself and others, you create a field of
> clarity and safety around you wherever you go.
>>>When you love yourself deeply, you open a deeper
>>>capacity to love others. When two or more people link up in an
>atmosphere of authenticity and love,
>>>a field of boundless creative possibility comes
>>>into being.
>>>Action Step:
>Love yourself and others as much as you can from wherever you are.
