Shouldn't need to.  If your eth0 is set to route properly, it'll forward
on just fine.... just make sure the routing is set right.

Don't have to do that.  Gateways are just to tell packets the right
direction to go (they point toward the right network, or the exit from the
network).  Since his isp will be sending the packets for all 3 static ips
to him already, he just has to route once they arrive.

I got a block of ips from clipper, and the gateway is my assignment, they
don't even care what it is, since they just send everything for that
subnet my way.  I could pick any of the ips as the gateway, and they don't
even have to know which... so long as my routing takes care of the packets
and sends things back fine.
