Thanks guys.  I asked him to send one of the files, if it wasn't too big, and what 
kind of printer he has.
I'll pass this on to him and see if it's that easy.

try sending the file direct to a postscript printer ( cat file >/dev/lp )
(or if you use windows to do it: copy file lpt1:)

probably.... if they are some weird postscript broken thing, might take
some work.  probably not though.... should end in .ps if they are
postscript.
