I know that USWest has changed to Qwest, and I have a 256k connection
through them. 3 days ago I received a letter informing me that, since I
have beed a good customer, my speed is now increased to 640k at no extra
cost. I couldn't believe it, I thought it was a mistake.. I had to read
the letter a few times.
The questions I have is, are they actually being generous by giving me the
640k speed, or is some other mistake trying to be covered up? Sorry for
the cynicism, but this almost seems too good to be true. My average phone
bill for the business DSL line is around $100 per month, and that includes
my regular phone bill. Is anyone else paying around $100 per month for
640k DSL speed?
