[EUG-LUG:5203] HELP!!!! I'm in HELL!!!!

                Dear Fellows,
        On Friday ( my birthday) we suffered a complete system failure.  We lost 
everything that was on the HD.  Could someone forward  copies of the 
gateway posts from last week to me?  Also my Linux box says it sees the 
modem, but when I try to dial up the pppd fails to come up and the mouse 
freezes.  Any ideas?   Thirdly:  does anyone have a 2 to 4 gig HD they want 
to get rid of?  I accidently destroyed  the 2 gig HD I had intended to put 
into a 486 system.  Someone said  it was possible to run a firewall using 
only a floppy drive?  Would you elucidate PLease?
