They also have a nice digital adapter called the multilink which will let
you plug a, who'd have thought, G400 into the 1600SW. (I just looked this
up -- I didn't know this last message :-). This is a pure digital honkin'
good signal -- with one catch: You have to use Matrox's optional daughter
card to get digital out on your G400. 1600SW graphics card matrix:

Buy.com has the 1600SW with multilink for $1438 shipped.
Onvia.com has the G400 daughter card for $219 shipped.
With the daughtercard you can hook up two displays, but only one can be a
digital flat panel. The other would be a CRT or analog flat panel; and the
digital flat panel would be a secondary display -- in Windows, anyway.
(Maybe X4 lets you do it either way.):

BTW tyhe daughtercard page says max resolution of its flat oanel output is
1280x1024. But actually, if you plug it into a 1600SW, it will give you
1600x1024.
Q: Is this for work or gaming?
