Maintaining it, i hear, from one assigned to run a production webserver
with it at UofO, can be rather less fun.  It's all built up from a scripting
language called Pike.  He rather hoped it was not named after Rob Pike,
as it would do him  no honor.  "Pike - it bites!"  Was one of his pithier
utterances.
