Hey, I'm trying to setup openlinux 2.4 on my computer, it's
partitioned: hda1 22gigs running WinME partition, hda2 200megs
linux swap, hda3 4 gigs linux partition. I think it has to do
with my monitor and video card (prophet geforce 2 mx, acerview
99c). I can setup everything, but after install when it tries to
load openlinux i see jack. Is there any way to get this working
without using the new xfree86 kernel? If there isn't how do I
do it? My initial guess is to copy the openlinux files to my
computer, insert the new xfree86 kernel and burn a new cd. Any
help would be appreciated. Oh, same thing happens when I try to
install Redhat Linux 6.0.
