develop and improve new technologies on various IBM eServers. The positions

LTC Software Engineer
This position requires significant UNIX and/or Linux operating system
(internals) experience and the candidate should possess strong 'C'
programming skills. Significant expertise in one or more kernel areas such
as: scheduling, virtual memory, device support, I/O or multi-processor
(SMP) systems is a plus. The candidate will be working with a team devoted
to extending Linux's abilities in the enterprise computing arena. In
particular, the job will involve improving the performance and scalability
of Linux on larger scale hardware with many processors and large amounts
of memory and disk storage. "C" Prprogramming OS design skills UNIX
knowledge Linux experience Software development process knowledge BS
BACHELORS DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE Computer Science or equivalent
experience Requires 3 years experience with operating system internals.
