Well, I couldn't stand it so I bought that copy of FreeBSD at Staples. I haven't
installed it yet, but I am really enjoying Greg Lehey's book that came with the CDs.
It's a joy reading Lehey's assessment of the differences between FreeBSD and
Linux, which concludes with this humorous observation.
FreeBSD:
"FreeBSD has a large number of afficionados [sic] who are prepared to flame
anybody who dares suggest that it's not better than Linux."
Linux:
"Linux has a large number of afficionados [sic] who are prepared to flame
anybody who dares suggest that it's not better than FreeBSD."
