I have a second hard drive that I partitioned with Mandrake.
When I installed Red Hat 7 I didn't repartition it and now I want
to mount it, but I don't remember what format or file system it is in.
I have tried a few but the whole system crashes or the directory ls is
unreadable. How can I interrogate the disk to know which filesystem
e.g. msdos,vfat,etc ( presumably it isn't ext2) hdparm gives me all kinds of
sector info but I don't know how to interpret it.
