Network Backup Techniques using Linux

in designing your network backup/archival system.
- Considerations in selecting Backup and Archival media
- Data formats. How they can foul things up.
- Open files, Operating system attributes, ...
- Archival formats (tar, cpio, proprietary backup systems, etc.)
- Network backups (push and pull techniques)
- Backup and Archival schedules (incrementals vs. full backups)
- Meta data. What is where in your backups?
- War games, offsite considerations, disaster recovery
