Just got back. We may have a couple of camping passes this year,
which'll aid our logistics a bit, but if we take two camping passes it'll
cut down our day passes to three. Who else wants to go to the fair and
flog Linux to the hippies? Given that we have Patrick going under efn
auspices, we stand to have an even better presence at the Communications
Booth (but we're calling it Doors of Expression now) despite a loss of day
passes. So who's up for a day or three at the Oregon Country Fair?
I'm glomming onto one camping pass, because I'm filling out the
application. I'm inclined to reserve the other for either Ben Barrett or
Jamie Chamoulos (because of their efforts last year), day pass allocation
depends on who announces interest.
Note that receiving passes indicates a willingness to work eight
or so hours for a camping pass, and four hours for a day pass, out at the
fair site before the fair.
I'm still interested in organising a Euglug Marching, Singing and
Chowder Society to proceed down the Eugene Celebration Parade singing (or
chanting) the DeCSS song and/or the Free Software song, and other hit
tunes we find appropriate or fun. I still don't think the police are clued
in enough to bust us for it.

Folks, I need to put in the application by May 10th. Volunteers,
please reply either to the list or to me ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
