Try kmail (part of KDE), or sylpheed, which is a fast, gtk-based email
client (do a search on Google, it'll come up). Sylpheed is pretty slick
and seemingly speedier than kmail. I'm unsure if it does IMAP or not, but
I think it does. Its easy to send mail from multiple accounts though. When
you compose a mail, it uses a drop-down menu for From:, and you just
select the account you want to send it from. It also has filters, etc.
