Can anyone tell me an easy way to fsck my root? Conditions: I don't want to use a floppy disk or rescue CD. Is there a way to tell the system that the / partition is 'dirty' and needs to be fscked on the next boot? Can anyone tell me how to check a drive regardless of the partition(s) on it? IE, something that checks closer to a hardware level. Thanks, Cory
