I too have become fond of the dselect interface; granted, it does take a
little learning to use optimally, but i find it a lot richer than the current
console-apt. I haven't tried gnome-apt yet, and command line apt is fine
for the occasional package, but for large scale fiddling with installation
dselect is great; the interactive dependency resolution before committing
to the downloads is especially nice.
