At the LISA confrence in December (www.usenix.org)
             there was much discussion of this "When will IPV6
             really happen?"

             The concensus was that it would not get off the ground
             until Cisco started using it internally.
             So I know the cisco gal in the conversation
             actually went back to the VP of something and
             said this to him.

             In addition, the sense I got from the meeting
             was that the wireless apps would drive IPV6 onto
             the market place. Perhaps Sony is the first step in this.
